Below is a list of our frequently asked questions; please get in touch on our enquiries page if you need further information.

Do I need to pre-book?

Yes, it is very important that all treks are pre-booked. We are a working farm and we arrange treks around the ongoing work there. We only have 6 Alpacas so by booking we can ensure there will be Alpacas available for your trek. We can also ensure our Alpacas will not be over-worked by only allowing them 2 to 3 full treks per day. Walk-ins will not be accepted. Please call 07786065539 if your booking is same-day to ensure a speedy reply.

What days and times do treks take place?

Our treks start mid-morning or early afternoon (typically 11am or 2pm). Treks are primarily on weekend days and bank holidays, but there are occasions where we can do a trek on a weekday, so do enquire.

How do I book?

Please call us on 07786065539 or fill in our enquiry form on the enquires page and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Can I get a gift voucher?

Of course! Please get in touch via our enquiries page or call 07786065539 to request one. We will request a bank transfer as payment and then send the voucher to the address you provide us with.

How do I pay for my trek?

Unfortunately we do not have card facilties at the farm, so payment will be either cash on the day or bank transfer to details we can provide you with. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Will my children be allowed to trek?

Any child of any age will be allowed to trek but children under the age of 16 will need an adult present who will be responsible for their welfare throughout the trek. Any child aged 4-7 years old can only share an Alpaca with an adult. Under 4s unfortunately we cannot accommodate due to safety around the Alpacas and the length of the trek.

Can I bring my dog?

No Dogs will be allowed on the site. Our Alpacas are very uncomfortable and distracted around Dogs so they will not be allowed to trek or remain on site during your trek. Our apologies for any inconvenience.
